
NCMEC, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tipped HCSO Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force which led to the 30-year-old man's arrest.
Mason Edward Carter was arrested on Thursday, January 26th, and was charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Sexual exploitation is the crime of coercing, persuading, inducing, or enticing a minor to engage in online sexual activity through the production of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This material includes, but is not limited to, pictures and videos. Sexual exploitation is a federal crime.
Carter was later released the same day he was arrested on a $10,000 bond, according to wmbfnews.com.
